Please note that you should have a
copy of Advanced Diary installed on your server for the database
maintenance purposes. This is necessary for built-in database
Backup, Restore and Pack functions. These features are available
only for database administrator (SYSDBA) account.
Do not connect to a shared database
locally. Use server connection, even if Advanced Diary installed on
the server.
As alternate way you can use one of
the many free or commercial utilities for Firebird databases
maintenance.
